At the Open Academy we would like people within the community as well as students to benefit from our fantastic new building and state of the art facilities. The Academy has been built with full disabled access into and around the building therefore the following areas are available to hire to the public.

The sports hall has a sprung wooden floor and floor line markings for netball, basketball, 5-a-side football, 4 badminton courts, volleyball and tennis. There is also a viewing gallery.
Hourly rate: Mon-Fri: £30 Sat/Sun: £35
The Drama studio also has a sprung wooden floor and benefits from a partly mirrored wall. This space is suitable for dance, fitness, Zumba, floor work classes etc.
Hourly rate: Mon-Sun: £24.50 Weekends: £26.50
The hard court area has line markings for 3 netball courts.
Summer (non-floodlit): £23.00 for 2hrs
Winter (floodlit): £30 for 2 hrs
We have a 11-a-side pitch
Rates: Per Season: £660 per season
11-a-side: Per Day: £82.50 a day
There are various shapes and sizes of classrooms to suit your requirements.

All classrooms have a projector and whiteboard. Our specialist rooms are: Design & Technology, Drama, Music, ICT and Art.

The Lecture Theatre is fitted with Bleacher seating which holds 200 people, a large projector/screen and a PA/sound system.

The Atrium and Lecture Theatre are divided by a large folding partition which can be opened so that these areas can be used as one larger space. This area can be set up in a variety of ways from more social small tables to theatre style.
